Students’ perceptions of co-teaching in the general classroom

چکیده

This study examined how Finnish primary school students perceive teachers’ roles and responsibilities, their own learning participation, the social climate during co-taught lessons. Data were collected through a web-based questionnaire among (N = 242) from grades four to six schools where Swedish is medium of instruction co-teaching has been initiated. Students with without special educational needs participated in study. more positive lessons they received per week, while most when five weekly. also perceived that mostly general education teacher responsible for lesson planning but both teachers contribute students’ learning. In earlier research, perceptions have seldom focus there an obvious need research on perspectives develop realise as teaching approach promotes participation all classroom.
